KCLC RADIO: Alfie

We begin a new series on “The Journey” to Jerusalem. Every week until Easter, the gospel of Mark tells us exactly where Jesus is on the journey to the cross. This week we are in Capernaum as Jesus talks about perils of getting into arguments and engaging in conflict.

We begin a new sermon series called, “Dear Church…” where we will spend time looking at the most important things the church should be about. We begin with love. Everything we do is informed by love. Note: the first few seconds were cut off but you’ll get what I am talking about.

KCLC is still on the air and we go back to 1978 to hear the first breakout hit of this band from the state of Illinois. This song is an invitation to higher living. The lyrics to this song points us to a new way of living.

We continue on in our study of the letter James wrote to the Christian Church. In chapter 4, we see what robs of joy and connection: coveting and jealousy. James also gives us the remedy to this struggle in our lives.
