Ash Wednesday 2024

I take a new look at the moment Jesus was transfigured in front of Peter, James and John. There is a reason Jesus did this and it has meaning for our life today.
We continue “The Journey” to Jerusalem. Today Jesus is across the Jordan River talking to a man who want to know how to get to heaven. There is something in this story for us too!
We conclude the sermon series on the Old Testament prophet with a disappointing conclusion. Jonah is now pouting that God saved the city of Nineveh. What can we learn from Jonah? A lot!
We continue on in our study of the letter James wrote to the Christian Church. In chapter 4, we see what robs of joy and connection: coveting and jealousy. James also gives us the remedy to this struggle in our lives.
