Advent Perspective Check: Peace


We come to the end of this series because it is the last Sunday in Lent. Today the story has a twist. Jesus is at the feet of others to remind of something important.
Ash Wednesday marks the beginning of the journey to the empty tomb of Easter. God speaks of his intentions for us in Isaiah 61. He will take the ashes of our lives and make something beautiful of them.
We continue the story of Queen Esther and we see that the first dinner party ends with Haman getting upset and King Xerxes suffering from insomnia. There are lessons to be learned from Esther, Haman and Xerxes. We can grow from this story!
We take a look at the next Fruit of the Holy Spirit: Faithfulness. I clear up some misconceptions about faith and how it is different than belief. Transformation begins with faith… not belief.
