Our DNA: Real People

We are going to spend the next four weeks looking at what makes us tick as a church… our metaphorical DNA. Listen in as I spend some time talking about what kind of people we are: Real People.

We are going to spend the next four weeks looking at what makes us tick as a church… our metaphorical DNA. Listen in as I spend some time talking about what kind of people we are: Real People.
We begin the journey towards Christmas in a season called Advent. We will take some time looking at some themes that will help us make our way in life. Today, we explore the importance of hope.
We begin this message with a secular Christmas song sung by Bruce Ewing and accompanied by Philip Fortenberry. This unconventional song for Christmas worship reflects the unconventional year we have all experienced.
We continue on “At the Feet of Jesus” but this moment is different than all the rest. A woman named Mary is at the feet of Jesus to just be in his presence. Spending time with Jesus on a regular basis will minimize moments of anxiety and desperation.
We begin a new sermon series called, “Dear Church…” where we will spend time looking at the most important things the church should be about. We begin with love. Everything we do is informed by love. Note: the first few seconds were cut off but you’ll get what I am talking about.
