We enter into the second week of Advent and we are packing for Bethlehem. We are packing light by packing peace and getting rid of resentment.

We begin a new series that seeks to answer the biggest theological quetions of the faith. Today we begin with biggest of all questions: Is there a God?
How do we make sense of the senseless violence of the past 3 weeks and even the past 20 years of mass violence? God calls to us from the book of Amos and gives us direction.
We continue in our sermon series on how we connect with God. Religious rigidity gets in the way of that connection. So much so we can get into ruts that we can’t get out of. Jesus frees us from our personal ruts!
In today’s message, we hear of two people in one story who end up at the feet of Jesus for two different reasons. Whatever reason we come to Jesus, he will never reject us.
