Core Values 2024: Learning

Do we have a seven day a week faith or is it a Sunday morning thing? I use the metaphor of a backpack to take with us wherever we go. Don’t drop it!

We look at another ordinary person who was led to an extraordinary moment… Jesus’ step-dad Joseph. He wanted nothing to do with this moment but God helped him out. Maybe you’re not ready for your next step of faith but God will guide the way.

How do we make sense of the senseless violence of the past 3 weeks and even the past 20 years of mass violence? God calls to us from the book of Amos and gives us direction.

We begin looking at our core values as a congregaiton. This doesn’t come from the staff but all of our members! We embrace welcome here, even when it is uncomfortable. This is the first in a series sermons about our core values.
